Community Manager (Germany)

Job description

Who we are:

We’re BUX, a tech company that is rocking the world of finance. By taking down all barriers and disrupting the trading experience, we're helping new generations of first-time investors to discover the financial markets. We launched our first app back in 2014 and have welcomed over 2 million users across Europe since then. We’re now building a fully-fledged stockbroker, in order to support multiple investment apps.

Our current app 'BUX X' is mainly targeting short term traders, but we’re also working on a new app offering real shares trading for free that is focused on offering mid to long term investing. Our end goal is to offer a family of apps, catering to everyone who wants to do more with his or her money.

Your role:

We are looking for someone who is native German and fluent in English to be a key player in the German BUX community. You will need to have an affinity for the financial markets, be a great communicator, and enjoy spending your day interacting with users in the app.

Growing our community of traders in Germany can be done through features that we have inside our app. You will organize trading competitions called  Battles, invite users to chat in Groups and actively manage content and conversations in German Channels.

In addition, you will also engage with our community outside the app by organizing meet-ups across Germany. You may also be required to  conduct interviews with journalists, and support our head of Public Relations (PR) with media activities in Germany. These responsibilities will require regular travel to Germany. Anything that can help engagement, retention and growth of our German community is in scope for your role.
